According to a decision of the German government, many refugees who have lived in Germany for 7–8 years will be deported. Around 37,000 Ezidi Kurds are affected by the decision. Most of the Ezdis who live in Germany today have fled there from the terrorist organization ISIS.
The Yezidis living in Germany today have built a new life, started working and with their children going to school like any other German child. Most of them come from the Shingal area, which today is controlled and governed by the unofficial pro-Iranian group Hashdi Shabi and is bombed almost daily by Turkish aircraft and drones. Life in Singal is not safe for the Yezidis.
Their girls and children are kidnapped by the Hashdi Shabi and they are subjected to great atrocities. Today, around 300,000 Ezidis already live in refugee camps in the Kurdistan Region. We call on the German government to stop the deportation of the Yezidis. We appeal to all political parties and civil society to support the Ezidis and stop the deportation.
We ask all Kurds living in Germany to help their Ezidi brothers and sisters who are on hunger strike in several German cities.
